Wavering Shimmer - Shimmering Light

Wavering Shimmer - Shimmering Light

A resonating rainbow ...
An instrument by Colin / Ground Tactics, Wavering Shimmer aggregates eight tuning forks into a rubber belt. Distinct pitches harmonise, overlap and structure, giving an immersive sonic movement which can influence the energy of everyone in the room and the room itself.

Activate the tones one after the other and let the instrument resonance travel in space, reflecting on every surface. Thoughts, movement and gesture carries their intention into resonance through the room, creating a fractal impression: small patterns within larger ones, ripples folding into ripples, details appearing as the listening position changes.

A way of hearing colours. The room's acoustic conditions becomes part of the composition, enriched by enchanting vibrations.
