How to ask for consent:
- Announce placements by pointing at the locations the tuning fork will be placed on the body prior the session starts.
- Express that if any of these points are uncomfortable for them they are welcome to express it and the session can be interrupted or adjusted accordingly.
- Give the agency for them to interrupt the session at any time if they wish so, or if they have any immediate needs or wish to express themselves.
The use of tuning forks in a deep somatic recalibration can bring to the surface unpleasant memories, feelings and thoughts. It is essential to hold space for them in the pace that supports their wellbeing and ideal integration process.
